Formed in 1903, the Catholic Daughters of the Americas is one of the oldest and largest organizations of Catholic women in the Americas. Under the patronage of the Blessed Mother, the Catholic Daughters of the Americas are united by their faith in Jesus Christ, and in their devotion to the church and the Holy See.
Court Mary Queen of Peace #2497, which is the CDA Court at Sacred Heart, was chartered in January, 2001. Our motto is "Unity and Charity." We are active in the Parish by providing scholarships to graduation seniors, supporting seminarians, assisting St. Vincent de Paul with the Angel Tree project at Christmas, partnering with the Guadalupanas to give flowers to parish Mothers on Mother's Day, and working with our brother Knights of Columbus for the rights of the unborn. These are just a few of our projects.
We meet every second Tuesday of the month in the Sacred Heart School cafeteria, except in July and August. We encourage all Catholic women 18 years and older to join us! For information, please contact Tammy Marshall 210-457-9789.
